Glyptothorax medogensis
Parachiloglanis immaculata
В результате таксономической ревизии сомов семейства багариевых (Sisoridae) обитающих в низовьях реки Yarlung Tsangpo, в Китае, описаны три новых вида Glyptothorax medogensis, Glyptothorax rara и Parachiloglanis immaculata.
Кабинетное открытие, основанное на исследовании 403 особей, отловленных в реке в 1974, 2019—2023 годах, позволившее определить, что в реке обитают представители 6 родов и 1- видов багариевых. Glyptosternon maculatum; Glyptothorax cavia, G. cf. gracilis, G. medogensis (новый), G. rara (новый), Pseudecheneis sirenica, Creteuchiloglanis kamengensis; Exostoma tibetanum, E. tenuicaudatum, и Parachiloglanis immaculata (новый).
Популяции G. medogensis раньше ошибочно относились к G. annandalei, а Parachiloglanis immaculata — к Parachiloglanis hodgarti.
