Leporinus striatus
Два новых вида в роде лепоринов (Leporinus), семейство малоротых или аностомовых (Anostomidae), обитающие в притоках бассейна Амазонки, в Бразилии, получили названия
— Leporinus microphysus, обитающий в бассейнах рек Jari и Tapajós определён на основе особенностей строения плавательного пузыря, окраса, строения зубов и распределения чешуи.
— Leporinus tristriatus, обитающий в бассейнах рек Tocantins, Xingu и Tapajós определён на основе особенностей окраса, строения зубов и распределения чешуи.
В этом же труде переопределён Leporinus striatus, известный ранее.
